Oberhofer, the Brooklyn indie-rock band led by singer and songwriter Brad Oberhofer, recently signed with Glassnote Records, the NYC-based indie label responsible for Phoenix and Mumford & Sons, among others.

The band’s debut full-length on Glassnote is due for early 2012.

In the meantime, they’ve just released a single on 7″ via White Iris, the record label arm of Black Iris Music.

Both tracks, “Gotta Go” and “Mahwun”, were produced and recorded at Black/White Iris studios in Echo Park, Los Angeles by Lewis Pesacov (Best Coast, Fool’s Gold, etc) and mixed by NYC-based Peter Wade (MNDR).

Oberhofer will play Music Hall Of Williamsburg on September 6, with Les Savy Fav.
