McDSP v5 Begins Shipping

McDSP announced that the McDSP v5 release is now shipping.

The McDSP v5 release includes Audio Unit (AU) support, the 6030 Ultimate Compressor and the next generation of Classic Pack plug-ins. The McDSP v5 release will initially support Intel-Mac systems only running Mac OS 10.5.x (Leopard) and 10.6.x (Snow Leopard). Read more...

ASCAP, RightsFlow Partner with Limelight Licensing Service Offering

Performing rights organization ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers), and licensing/rolalty service provider RightsFlow, both NYC-based, announced they have entered into a partnership to offer mechanical licensing services to ASCAP’s songwriter, composer and publisher members – nearly 400,000 in total — through RightsFlow’s Limelight online utility.
