The Cribs Record Latest With Dave Fridmann, Steve Albini

UK indie/punk band The Cribs are set to release their fifth album – In The Belly Of The Brazen Bull – in May on Wichita Recordings.

The album has been produced from recordings made up in Cassadaga, New York at Dave Fridmann’s Tarbox Road Studio – with Fridmann at the controls – self-produced sessions at London’s Abbey Road, and a few days in Chicago with engineer Steve Albini at his Electrical Audio studio.

The follow up to 2009’s Ignore The Ignorant, the new Cribs record marks the band’s return to a trio following the departure of former Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr.
