BMI Launches “Mixed by Duro” Contest
The performance rights organization BMI has announced the launch of the new “Mixed by Duro” contest. The winner will have one song mixed by NYC-based, 6-time GRAMMY-winning mixer Duro (Alicia Keys, Jay-Z, Kanye West), plus receive Lexicon’s MPX Native Reverb plugin.

Duro will pick top his five favorite song submissions, then BMI execs along with Duro will vote on the winner. The submission deadline is March 27, 2012, and the winner will be announced April 9, 2012.

“BMI’s ‘Mixed by Duro’ is a once in a lifetime chance to win an opportunity to have your song professionally mixed by Grammy award-winning mix engineer, Ken ‘Duro’ Ifill.
