Steinberg Releases HALion 5 and HALion Sonic 2 — Updated Sampler & Workstation

HALion 5 is Steinberg’s completely updated VST sampler that has gained a lot of attention with their previous version among musicians, producers and sound designers alike. Steinberg has added many new features including a new granular synthesis engine and new slicing mode.

Steinberg has also released HALion Sonic 2. Their updated software workstation adds new and updated higher quality instruments with more sound-shaping options, FX and filters. The updated workstation also has flexible stage performance options.

Steinberg’s VST sampler is more flexible than ever with HALion 5.

HALion 5 is available now for $349.99 MSRP and HALion Sonic 2 is available now for $249.99 MSRP. Both plugins are available for Mac or PC with VST or AU compatible hosts. Here are more details from Steinberg:
