AudioThing Releases Valve Exciter – Vintage Valve Emulation Plug-In

Dublin-based AudioThing is a multi-purpose developer specializing in sample libraries and plug-in development among other sonic exploration. Their latest plug-in, Valve Exciter, enhances harmonic content of any source track by emulating vintage Telefunken tube saturation.

Valve Exciter is available now for an intro price of $47 (35 EUR) – $60 MSRP (45 EUR). The plug-in is compatible with Mac and PC in VST and AU formats as 32/64-bit options.

Valve Exciter is a Harmonic Enhancer plug-in with vintage valve emulation. The exciter section features hand tuned filters with the ability to sweep the center frequencies via the Harmonics knob. The valve section is modelled after a softer custom version of the vintage Telefunken ECC83 tubes with drive, triode/pentode mode and bias settings.
