Blue’s latest addition to their array of microphones takes inspiration from their famous ‘interchangeable’ Bottle Caps – the “B1” capsule in particular. Characteristics of this capsule include an extended high end, as well as high SPL handling.
The Hummingbird is a small diaphragm condenser microphone that has a swiveling capsule with 180 degrees of motion. It is dressed for instruments with pronounced transient characteristics like plucked strings, percussion, and more.
