Criterion Acoustics, a full-service design firm specializing in architectural acoustics, audiovisual systems, and technology solutions, announced it has expanded into new offices.

With plenty of facilities on the move following the go-condo trend that’s decimating formerly studio-friendly industrial buildings in Brooklyn, and possibly another shakeup coming in Manhattan, acoustical design should be in fresh demand as audio pros relocate.

The East Coast headquarters of Criterion Acoustics is now situated at 112 Brunswick Street, Jersey City, NJ. In addition, Criterion Acoustics has a Western region presence via its new offices located at 451 East 58 Avenue, Denver, CO.

The larger Jersey City space was selected to accommodate Criterion Acoustics’ continued expansion. Their growing portfolio includes projects for recording studios, theaters, residential, residential, hospitality, general AV systems design, DSP programming, performing arts, gyms/fitness, system tuning, general consulting, nightclubs and hotels.

Recent Criterion Acoustics clients include The Axis at Planet Hollywood, Atlantic Records, Human Worldwide, Brooklyn Technical High School, DeSales University, CrossFit Solace, and many more.

Additional acoustical design segments that Criterion Acoustics serves includes hospital/medical, broadcast, higher education, science and research, worship, athletics, government/military, rail/highway/aviation, community noise, and quiet product design.
