Mackie Announces CRBT Bluetooth Monitors

For those who may have missed it, Mackie released two new monitors – both with 100% more Bluetooth.

Mackie’s Bluetooth enabled monitors are ideal for casual listening and mixing.

Part of their best selling CR-series of monitors, the CR4BT and CR5BT join their wired CR3 and CR4 counterparts. CR-specific features include:

• Left/right speaker placement switch allows users to locate the volume control on the left or right of their workstation
• Front panel on/off/volume knob with a lit power indication ring that will also control the volume of headphones, which can be plugged directly into the front of the monitor
• Front panel 1/4″ input for external audio source
• Included acoustic isolation pads

With Bluetooth-enabled monitors, Mackie hopes to increase the flexibility of referencing mixes, and reducing clutter with less cable, and a small footprint.

Both sets of monitors are available now – The CR4BT for $259.99 MSRP, and the CR5BT for $329.99 MSRP.
