Rupert Neve Designs Announced New Shelford Channel at 141st AES

An adaptation from their classic console, the Shelford Channel from Rupert Neve Designs has been produced with classic console sound, and modern enhancements in versatility and precision.

Additional or alternatively to full large format console (like the new API Legacy ASX Console), most modern recording studios cannot accommodate, nor afford an entire analog console. For the majority, classic console flavors in a portable format are more favorable.

Let the Neve Shelford Channel bring portable, analog goodness into your life.

The Shelford Channel is built around Rupert Neve’s first new transformer-gain, class A mic preamp in over 40 years. Accompanying the new preamp is the 1073- and 1064-inspired inductor EQ section from Neve’s existing Shelford 5051 and 5052 modules, a new diode bridge compressor inspired by the 2254 with additional functionality, a new dual-tap transformer output with high- and low-headroom outputs, variable Silk/Texture transformer saturation, and twice the operating voltage of Rupert Neve’s vintage modules.

The Shelford Channel will begin shipping in October 2016 at $3,995 MSRP. Click here for more details!
