TWO New Free Presentations Added for MixCon 2016! Hands-On Analog Mixing & “Mixing for Your Mastering Engineer”!

Just added! Two new presentations: Mixing for Mastering and Hands-on Analog Mixing on an API Console.

Just added! Two new presentations: “Mixing for Mastering”, plus hands-on analog mixing on a real large-format API console.

Seats at this year’s MixCon are filling up fast. So, due to popular demand, we’ve added not one but TWO new presentations.

First, sign up for a hands-on, intimate, small group mixing tutorial on Rubber Tracks’ large-format API console.

Not only will you get to work on a real mix on a real heavyweight analog console in the Rubber Tracks control room, you’ll also get a private tour of the studio grounds, including some hands-on mic, speaker and headphone displays from some of the event’s key sponsors.

Space is strictly limited for both the beginner and advanced versions of these hands-on console mixing workshops, so sign up before all slots are gone!

Second, we’ve added on a roundtable discussion to start off the event at 1pm on Sunday October 16th called “Mixing For Your Mastering Engineer“.

Join SonicScoop’s Justin Colletti, as he picks the brains of three phenomenal mastering engineers and asks them what makes a good mix great. Joining Justin are:

Joe Lambert [Animal Collective, Sharon Van Etten, Deerhunter]
Randy Merrill [Adele, Chris Brown, Miike Snow]
Alan Douches [The National, Xiu Xiu, Wye Oak]
