Mix With the Masters: Chris Lord-Alge Session Announced – May 11-17

Mix with the Masters is going strong in 2017 with the latest addition to their schedule, the return of Chris Lord-Alge to the big board at Studio La Fabrique in France. AKA CLA, the mix maestro will lead his week-long mix seminar from May 11 to May 17, 2017.

A long-time friend of SonicScoop, CLA is famed for his extreme use of dynamic range compression both in and out of the box. Top credits include James Brown’s “Gravity”, Prince’s “Batman”, Joe Cocker’s “Unchain My Heart”, and Tina Turner’s “Foreign Affair,” to name just a few. Also on his discography are 12″ remixes of Madonna’s “Isla Bonita”, the Rolling Stones’ “Too Much Blood” and Bruce Springsteen’s “Dancing in the Dark”, “Cover Me”, and “Born in the U.S.A.”

CLA doing what he does best, for the benefit of a bunch at MWTM. This year’s seminar is May 11-17.

Lord-Alge’s seminar will see (and hear!) him sharing his approach and philosophy on mixing with a group of selected students. In addition to witnessing CLA’s mixing process and asking questions each step of the way, participants will be able to work one-on-one with Lord-Alge and receive individual feedback on their own productions and mixes.

Special bonus! Chris’ highly accomplished brother Tom Lord-Alge will drop in at the end of week, prior to conducting his own weeklong mixing seminar from MAY 19 – 25, 2017.
