In Alabama: Connecting Kids to Audio

Some studios know how to make more than music. In Alabama, the facility Audiostate 55 (Stevie Wonder, Ruben Studdard, Carrie Underwood) is having an impact through a program that helps school-age kids to learn about the music business.

Through community and corporate partnerships, Audiostate 55 currently has about 150 elementary through high school students participating, with the latter satisfying fine arts and music technology requirements in the process. Visit AL.com to read the Birmingham Magazine interview with Audiostate 55 founder Dr. Henry Panion, and learn more about a very positive program.
