Nashville Event: AIMP “Inside Scoop from Music Sups V3” – August 14th

Ready for some sweet synch action in Music City this summer? The Association of Independent Music Publishers (AIMP) is bringing music-to-picture placement opportunities to Nashville on Monday, August 14th, from 2-4:30 PM.

Janet Lopez of Neophonic Music & Media will strut right into Nashville’s “Inside Scoop” event on 8/14.

That’s when AIMP’s Nashville Chapter will host “Inside Scoop from Music Sups V3,” at the Basement East in Nashville. Sponsored by Big Deal Music, Combustion Music, ole, and Warner/Chappell Production Music, the event will feature a smorgasbord of smart panelists including John Bissell of Mothlight Music, Sarah Bromberg of Bonfire Collective, Amanda Levine of Platinum Rye, Janet Lopez of Neophonic, and Rick Clark of Rick Clark Productions.

Together, the panel will provide attendees with an inside look at their upcoming projects and music needs so they can prepare music submissions that meet their requirements. Admission is $20 for AIMP members, $60 for AIMP non-members. For more info or to register for the event, visit AIMP.

The AIMP New York Chapter is also holding out a session in NYC on August 16th, although it’s already sold out. Still, info will be made available post-event from “Music Publishing Royalties 101 / Part 2,” which will be held August 16 at the Downtown Music Publishing offices in NYC. Moderator and AIMP NY Board Member Joyce Dollinger, Esq., will lead panelists Sean McGraw of Downtown Music Publishing and AIMP NY Treasurer H. Steven White, CPA, of Janover LLC in a fast-paced breakdown of royalty splits, royalty percentages, revenue streams, and royalty sources and accounting.

Visit AIMP for more valuable details following its completion.
