BAE Audio R53 500 series rack now shipping.
The R53 is a 3-slot horizontal 500 series rack with linking functionality. Now available through select retailers, the sleek 1RU rack provides an efficient way to integrate three of your favorite lunchbox signal processors into your recording or live system. The convenient layout and integrated linking is also great for combining a preamp, EQ, and compressor into a custom channel strip.
The R53 accommodates any three 500 series units in a single rack space thanks to its horizontal configuration. The rack eliminates studio clutter with its robust built-in power supply for surefire reliability. Switchable linking on the front of the unit lets you pass signal from one slot to the next, allowing you to easily cascade a preamp into an EQ and then into a compressor without patching, or integrate other sound-shaping tools into a cohesive signal path.
The R53 is available now from your authorized BAE dealer and carries a price of $450 “unloaded”, or $2,736 “loaded” with the BAE 312, G10 and 500C units.

In celebration of the legendary sounds of metal guitarist George Lynch, Celestion is pleased to announce the addition of the G12-50GL Lynchback IRs to their acclaimed line of Impulse Responses. With the original classic Lynchback being only the second signature guitar speaker that Celestion have ever produced in its 90+ year history, the G12-50GL Lynchback was built for, and named after, the legendary lead and rhythm guitarist George Lynch in 2011.
Working in collaboration with George Lynch himself to create the original classic Lynchback, Celestion spent more than 2 years studying every aspect of the speaker’s design and construction to create a tone which was original, bespoke, and above all, personal to George.
Five individual IR varieties of the Lynchback are available for download, which correspond to each of 5 separate types of cabinet, including: 1×12 (open back), 1×12 (closed back), 2×12 (open back), 2×12 (closed back), and 4×12 (closed back).
The G12-50GL Lynchback Collection is available now for $29.99.
