There’s an annual expo in NYC that’s of particular interest to audio post pros – CCW, also known as Content & Communications World. Content creation, management and distribution/delivery are all in focus at the show.

Post gets something extra in this annual expo at the Jacob Javits Center.

This year’s CCW will be at the Javits Center this week, November 14-15. There are four different halls within CCW, but the ones of particular interest to SonicScoop readers are HD World and the Production + Post Expo. Both of them have a good cross-section of pro audio and audio post hardware/software exhibitors, which we’ve seen to attract a serious crowd of production and post pros.

SonicScoop’s David Weiss will be moderating the panel “Beyond Seeing a Good Film…Hearing a Good Film” with a high-level group of film mixers: Academy Award-winning mixer Tom Fleischman (Hugo), Steve Bucino of Hyperbolic Audio, and Weston Fonger of Yessian Music.
