Michael Brauer on Why He Loves the SSL 9000 J

SonicScoop’s Justin Colletti has been doing a little moonlighting, this time joining forces with Plugin Alliance and Brainworx to help tell the story of the SSL 9000 J, one of the most coveted consoles in the time he was coming up in the audio engineering world in New York City.

In addition to helping Plugin Alliance put together a piece on the history of the SSL 9000 J, he also interviewed one of its biggest fans—legendary mixing engineer Michael Brauer—about this beloved console, which he spent so much of his career working on.
