SoundToys Announces Free Update for all V4 Users

SoundToys V4 users rejoice!

The Devil-Loc Deluxe "audio level destroyer" is just one of many SoundToys plugins to benefit from the V4.1.6 update.

The plugin developer announced today that is has released version 4.1.6, which is a free update for all customers who currently own V4 versions of their plugins and bundles. In addition, SoundToys’ latest update applies to Devil-Loc and Devil-Loc Deluxe (version 1.x).

According to SoundToys, the update fixes many issues and is recommended for all customers.

To get the free upgrade, V4 users need to login to their SoundToys account, where they will see the download links for each registered product. An upgrade charge may apply to users who have not yet upgraded to version V4 of SoundToys’ bundle or individual plugins may apply.

Version 4.1.6 bug fixes include:
– Fixed issue opening old sessions in Ableton Live
– Fixed issue causing “min shift alerts” occurring in EchoBoy
– Key hits now go to host if not required by the plug-in. Sonar still blocks them
– Fixed issue where key hits caused graphic problems in Cubase
– Fixed issue causing double key hits in Ableton Live Mac VST
– Simulated analog noise improved in FilterFreak
– Other system reliability bugs fixed
