Recreating Beatles Sounds with Modern Gear

The Beatles are easily one of the most influential bands of the 20th century, and are still among the most listened-to artists today.

They’re responsible not only for a tremendous number of hit records, but also for a tremendous number of iconic sounds that inspire producers, engineers and musicians to this day.

Today, Beatles expert Jerry Hammack joins me to talk about what made The Beatles sound the way they did—and what we can learn from their approach, and the approach of their producers and engineers in the studio.

We’ll explore their recording and mixing process in depth, and look at how to recreate their sounds with modern gear.

Jerry is the author of the new book “The Beatles’ Recording Techniques: Recreating The Classic EMI Recording Studios Sound In Your Home Studio“.
