The NYC audio post facility Sound Lounge has significantly expanded its long-form division, adding to its ability to serve the NY film and TV sectors. The company has just unveiled a brand-new ADR stage, 10 edit suites, and production space spanning an additional 5,000 square feet.
In addition to Sound Lounge Partner/Sound Designer Marshall Grupp, their long-form division also includes Lead Mixer Tony Volante, and Mixers Cory Melious, Steve “Major” Giammaria, and Ryan Price. Travis Call serves as Executive Producer for the long-form division of Sound Lounge.
Recent projects for the group includes “Damages” for FX Network, the Oscar-contending feature film Blue Valentine starring Michelle Williams and Ryan Gosling, and a new documentary from Academy Award-winning Filmmaker Alex Gibney (Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room) entitled Client 9: The Rise and Fall of Eliot Spitzer. The Sound Lounge team also made a major creative contribution this fall to Kanye West’s Runaway, a 35-minute film, promoting the release of his new album.
