Fall On Your Sword Adds Audio Post Mixer Ryan M. Price, Updates 7.1 Mix Room
Audio post’s footprint continues to loom larger in Brooklyn. The latest developments are at the Williamsburg collective Fall On Your Sword (FOYS), which has firmly established itself as a full-service audio production and post facility with its latest moves.
Chief among them is the arrival of mixer Ryan M. Price, who comes to FOYS following six years as a mixer/sound designer at Sound Lounge. Price’s documentary and feature film credits to date include Alex Gibney’s Park Avenue, Matt Wolf’s Teenage, Shannon Plumb’s Towheads, and Mike Cahill’s Another Earth. Price also sports a deep portfolio of commercials and award-winning TV programs that include “Damages” and “History Detectives.”
Price’s talents expand the offerings of FOYS, which was founded around the talents of multimedia composer Will Bates.
At FOYS, Price is working in their newly renovated mix room, a Dolby-tuned space which has been significantly expanded and features a 7.1 Surround system from JBL. Projects mixed by Price already at FOYS include Medora from directors Andrew Cohn & Davy Rothbart (SXSW premiere) and Teenage directed by Matt Wolf (Tribeca Film Festival premiere).
