Line 6 Announces AMPLIFi FX100 – iOS, Cloud-Enhanced Multi-Effects Pedal

Already making waves with the introduction of their cloud-enhanced AMPLIFi guitar amp (covered in our NAMM wrap-up), Line 6 is now introducing a cloud-enhanced multi-effects pedal to their new AMPLIFi line.

Line 6 is re-inventing digital control and tone building with AMPLIFI FX100.

The iOS enabled AMPLIFi FX100 works similarly to the guitar amp variation – users can essentially call on the device to directly copy the guitar tones from their streaming music via Bluetooth and can even save the tones for later recall. The cloud-based feature allows users to share tones with each other from anywhere.

The pedal itself includes a lot of functionality for those who prefer to create their tones from the ground up. Users will be happy to know that there are hundreds of components to chain for creating unique tones.
