Universal Audio Introduces Apollo Twin USB Audio Interface for Windows Systems
As we’re all aware Universal Audio is no stranger to the OS X environment. In fact, UA has traditionally made its Apollo interfaces specifically available for Mac over Thunderbolt – Until today!
Windows users will now be able to harness the power of UAD Processing with the portable Apollo Twin USB over USB 3.0. The 2-in/6-out interface integrates UAD-2 DUO Processing will work with Windows 8.1 and 7 operating systems. All current UAD-powered plug-ins will be compatible with the new interface as well.
The Apollo Twin USB for Windows is Available in October.
The Apollo Twin USB also features UA’s Unison tech, enabling tracking with DI and mic preamp emulation from a variety of analog and solid state preamps, guitar amps, and more.
Apollo Twin USB comes with Universal Audio’s “Realtime Analog Classics” UAD plug-in bundle, featuring legacy editions of the LA-2A Classic Audio Leveler, 1176LN Limiting Amplifier, and Pultec EQP-1A Program Equalizer, as well as the 610-B Tube Preamp plug-in, Softube Amp Room Essentials.
