New Gear Alert: Kali Audio Goes Bluetooth, BASS9 Bass Machine by EHX, iZotope’s Trash 2 via Novation & More

Kali Audio announces the MV-BT Bluetooth input module.

Following the success of the Project Lone Pine monitors, Kali Audio is back with a comprehensive Bluetooth solution.

The MV-BT is a Bluetooth receiver with balanced outputs for use with any professional audio system. You can pair any Bluetooth-capable playback device, including smartphones and laptops, with the MV-BT, and connect directly to your speakers, to a mixer, or to an interface. Using the aptX codec, the MV-BT is capable of receiving CD quality audio over Bluetooth.

The MV-BT has independent volume control, eliminating the need to control volume from a playback device. This puts a big, easy-to-use volume controller at your fingertips, and ensures that any Bluetooth-capable playback device can send audio at the highest possible resolution. An LED array alongside the volume wheel indicates the volume level.

The MV-BT features balanced XLR and TRS outputs, and in addition to Bluetooth input, there is a 3.5mm input on the side of the unit to provide physical connection to older devices.

The MV-BT is priced at $99, and will be available starting September 1, 2019 in the US, with worldwide availability soon to follow.

Featuring next-level pitch and dynamics detection, EHX’s BASS9 Bass Machine morphs your guitar into a low end beast.

The polyphonic BASS9 Bass Machine transforms a guitar into nine different basses and requires no special pickups, MIDI, or instrument modifications. It relies on the same technology powering all EHX 9 Series pedals, like the award winning MEL9 Tape Replay Machine, but features a new algorithm maximized for transposing one to two octaves down with superior dynamics and tracking.

The pedal is equipped with independent Effect and Dry volume controls so you can precisely tune your mix at the Effects output jack, plus an always-active Dry output jack that outputs the input signal at unity gain.

Check out a demo video of BASS9 here.

The BASS9 Bass Machine comes equipped with a standard EHX 9.6DC200mA power supply, and is available now at authorized EHX dealers. Click here for more information.
