New Gear Alert: Dante-Enabled TouchMonitors by RTW, EHX’s Mod 11 Pedal, Finalizer App by TC Electronic & More

RTW announces the Dante-Enabled TouchMonitor TM7 & TM9.

RTW aims to optimize your visual feedback on Dante systems with the new TM7 and TM9 TouchMonitors.

RTW focuses on visualizing audio in order to let audio engineers make informed decisions in professional broadcast, production, post production, and quality control. Now, it is possible to also benefit from this valuable visual feedback on Dante audio networks.

A TouchMonitor with Dante connectivity is able to monitor up to 32 audio channels at sample rates up to 96 kHz. The selected sample rate does not affect the channel count, which means that you can always rely on keeping your eyes on up to 32 channels across the IP Audio Network at any given time.

TouchMonitor TM7 and TM9 also automatically detect and adapt to Dante channel names, which in turn makes routing a breeze when setting up the audio metering system on the network. RTW has also implemented uncompressed, multi-channel digital audio technology that results in near-zero latency and synchronization performance for obtaining the most reliable and consistent results possible.

The TM7-Dante is priced at $5,037; the TM9-Dante is priced at $5,451.

TC Electronic delivers the new Finalizer app.

TC Electronic’s Finalizer mastering app offers a new online resource containing pre-analyzed, Billboard-charting tracks for A/B comparison.

TC Electronic first offered the power of mastering music at home 25 years ago with the original Finalizer hardware unit. Now, the company introduces a brand new take on modern mastering.

The central component in the 2019 incarnation of the dual-sided Finalizer concept is a desktop mastering app that compiles a wide range of the best multiband compression, limiter and EQ algorithms that TC Electronic has ever developed. They are ported 1:1 from the highly regarded System 6000 platform and bundled in a brand new package, along with a wealth of new features, such as presets based on complex analytical findings.

Finalizer also offers a free online analysis service that introduces a brand new way of visualizing music with regard to loudness, dynamics and the frequency spectrum. You can upload your own tracks and compare them directly to hundreds of songs that TC Electronic has already pre-analyzed and added to the continuously growing online library, spanning different musical genres and periods of time.

A key concept is that every song that has appeared on Billboard’s Top 20 within a quarter are pooled together as a bulk of songs that are representative for how hits sound today—and the company will continue to maintain this pool every quarter.

Finalizer is available for a special introductory price of $99 until September 20th, 2019 (reg. $199).
