Solid State Logic Announces Release of Duende Native Plug-In Collection

Solid State Logic (SSL) has announced the release of Duende Native. According to SSL, these plug-ins are functionally and sonically identical to the now discontinued DSP-powered Duende plug-ins, running natively using the host computer’s processing resources.

SSL has released the Duende Native Plug-In collection.

Duende plug-ins provide the feature set and tonal characteristics of SSL console products in affordable VST/AU/RTAS plug-in form, making them accessible to all DAW users.

The foundations of the Duende Native collection are plug-in adaptations of two SSL console classics:

The EQ & Dynamics Channel plug-in provides an EQ and dynamics processing solution with the characteristics of an SSL console channel strip.

The Stereo Bus Compressor plug-in gives uses the well-known SSL stereo master bus compressor to mixes.

In addition, Duende Native includes Drumstrip and Vocalstrip, which are “task specific” plug-ins that each gather together a set of carefully selected processing tools to facilitate getting drum and vocal sounds quickly and easily. X-EQ and X-Comp are both mastering grade processors that balance precision and tonal character. X-Verb is a powerful and flexible processor that brings hardware standard Reverb to a user’s DAW.

Duende Native plug-ins are available to purchase individually from the SSL web store.
