Alto Music NYC will be hosting a free, highly informative seminar dedicated to exploring Geist, the next-generation sampling instrument from FXpansion.

According to Shane Koss of Alto Music NYC, “Already Geist has radically changed my workflow and brings the best of a MPC,  Live, and a whole bunch of other goodness to one single plug-in – or even standalone.

“Geist is great for putting entire tracks together on the fly – it mixes loops of all sorts and let’s you sequence and program beats, FX and more – just the like the honey badger – it doesn’t care (YouTube it!). I rarely get that excited about a single plugin, but it is really that cool.”
