RIP Jerry Fuchs, Drummer for The Juan Maclean and Maserati

Gerhardt “Jerry” Fuchs, the Brooklyn-based drummer for The Juan Maclean and Maserati, died over the weekend after falling down an elevator shaft in a Williamsburg, Brooklyn building.

Fuchs, who was 34, was a very highly regarded drummer and friend in the NYC indie music community, where he also leant his talents to bands such as LCD Soundsystem, !!!, MSTRKRFT and Holy Ghost. He will be sorely missed.
