Event Alert: New York Songwriter’s Collective to Hold “The Recording Songwriter” One-Day Seminar

The New York Songwriter’s Collective, founded by songwriter/producer Peter Bliss (Peter Wolf, Paula Abdul, NSYNC), will hold a one-day intensive seminar “The Recording Songwriter” on Saturday, December 3rd.

NYSC presents its latest course.

The seminar will be held from 10:30 AM-4:30 PM at Shetler Studios, 244 West 54th Street (between Broadway and 8th Avenue) in Manhattan. The workshop fee is $135, and membership in the NYSC is required ($25 annual membership fee).

This workshop is intended to make emerging songwriters ready to record demos by explaining the home recording studio process. Along with the basics of digital audio workstations (DAWs) such as Pro Tools, Logic, Cubase, and Digital Performer, the art of pre-production will be explored thoroughly.
