Spectrasonics’ Omni Live iPhone App

Spectrasonics’ new (free) iPhone app, Omni Live, turns an iPhone or iPod Touch into a wireless remote control of the “Live Mode” of Spectrasonics soft synth, Omnisphere. “Omni Live” is available now as a free download from the Apple App store.

Spectrasonics has also released free updates for Omnisphere & Trilian v1.2. The Omnisphere update features over 200 new Omnisphere patches for over 7,000 total sounds in the factory library. Version 1.2 includes new features and enhancements to the Spectrasonics STEAM Engine, including improved browser features, new synthesizer filter algorithms and a new ‘Sample File Server’ function giving the software the ability to go beyond 32-bit memory limits on Mac OSX systems.

With the new update Omnisphere joins Trilian and Stylus RMX as fully Mac and Windows native 64-bit plug-ins.

Trilian version1.2 includes new features and enhancements to the Spectrasonics STEAM Engine including improved browser features, new synthesizer filter algorithms and a new ‘Sample File Server’ function giving the software the ability to go beyond 32-bit memory limits on Mac OSX systems.
