Event Choice: ASCAP EXPO – Songwriter/Composer Conference, April 18-20
One of the annual cornerstone events for songwriters and composers is coming soon: The ASCAP “I Create Music” EXPO arrives next month, taking place April 18-20 in Los Angeles at the Loews Hollywood Hotel.
A whole slew of new panelists has just been announced for the event, which puts music creators together for three days packed with panels, performances, networking, and education.
Music industry experts appearing now include the likes of Keynote Speaker Steven Tyler, producer/DJ Diplo, producer Steve Lillywhite, composer Nico Muhly, DJs Ken Jordan (of The Crystal Method) and RJD2, Ne-Yo, Lionel Richie, and many more.
Panels will include “Hit Producers,” “Anatomy of a Film,” “Women In Music,” “Music Placement,” “Digital Rights Licensing,” and “Making Money on YouTube,” to name just a few.
The ASCAP EXPO is open to all –not just ASCAP members. Attendees are eligible for discounted admission until March 31st. The discount price ranges from $340-$390, and full price (after 3/31) will be $450.
