Event Alert: Ableton Push & Max For Live Seminar at Downtown Music Studios (10/30)
On Wednesday (10/30), Alto Music NYC is hosting an Ableton Push event at Downtown Music Studios in SoHo. And you’re invited!

Part of the “Ableton Push Tour”, the Downtown event will feature artist Erin Barra presenting on how to use Live 9 and Push together to make and edit beats, compose melodies and harmonies, work with song structure, and more. (Read Erin Barra’s Push review right here on SonicScoop!)
Additionally, Alto NYC Max For Live specialist Shane Koss will be speaking at the event – giving a talk on how custom software solutions can be designed for artists and producers’ unique systems, workflows and performance preferences. Using Max For Live, Koss has designed software systems for performance and composing rigs (for artists like Laurie Anderson, among others).
Get up close and personal with Ableton’s new hardware instrument, and learn about Max For Live and how it can be used to build your own instruments and effects, and interact with hardware devices, lighting, visuals and more in performance.
