If you didn’t make it to the annual Just Managing Recording Lounge – held this year at Mission Sound in Williamsburg – you missed out! Artists including Ski Lodge, Tweens, Ghost Wave and Au Revoir Simone recorded sets for a digital mixtape that is now live at Insound.com. (See below)

SoundToys and SonicScoop co-sponsored the invite-only event with Just Managing, Brooklyn Brewery and Insound, which made for a really nice CMJ-meets-AES vibe, and a great mix of musicians, producers and engineers in attendance. See photos below.

Expertly recording the days sessions – 8 sets in 8 hours – were Just Managing’s Matt Shane and Hector Castillo. And now you can hear choice-cuts from the day over at Insound.com!
