Audio Post Moves: Sonic Union Adds Mixer Fernando Ascani
A musical multitasker has come onboard at Sonic Union in New York City.
The Union Square audio post facility announced that it has added the noted mixer and sound designer Fernando Ascani to their roster. His portfolio includes Cannes Lions and Clio Award-winning campaigns for Xbox, thanks to his mixes for the 2008 spots “Enemy Weapon” and “Hunted”. Additional campaigns of note for Ascani include P&G, DSW, Victoria’s Secret and more.
Most recently, Ascani was at Headroom, following his start at hsr|ny. He’s off to a quick start at Sonic Union, with campaigns for Honda and DSW. His reel can be experienced HERE.
Ascani is also known throughout music circles for being one of the founding family members of The FADER Magazine. Along with his friends, he helped launch the widely-regarded Cornerstone Mixtape (a.k.a. “the music industry’s mixtape”) a decade ago, a tool which is still key in winning radio play for artists.
