Gain Staging is an important part of dealing with audio when recording and mixing.

In this tutorial, I’ll go through some of the issues that are big red flags. If you’re needing some help with gain staging in your sessions, I’ll help you to solve them with some quick and easy tips — for any recording software — that will help you get better sounding mixes, faster (and with less of a headache too) .

There are dozens of ways to approach gain staging. I’ve gone over a few techniques here that I personally use, that you also may find helpful.
