Naughty By Nature’s Illtown Records Inks Deal With Tommy Boy

Naughty By Nature’s own East Orange, NJ-based Illtown Records has inked a distribution deal with NYC’s Tommy Boy Entertainment to release an EP featuring two tracks from their forthcoming full-length Anthem Inc.

The EP is available today on iTunes and features the new songs — “Get to Know Me Better,” featuring Pitbull and “I Gotta Lotta” — which were produced by Lady & A Tramp and NBN’s KayGee.

Naughty by Nature was signed to Tommy Boy Records in 1991 for its self-titled debut and two following albums, 19 Naughty III (1993) and the Grammy award winning “Best Rap Album” Poverty’s Paradise (1995).

Lady & A Tramp (Terence “Tramp-Baby” Abney & Marcella Precise) is a production-songwriting team out of Brooklyn NY. Their production/songwriting credits include Pink, Jaheim, Stacie Orrico, Charlie Wilson, Brooke Hogan, Noel Gourdin, & Luther Vandross.

Anthem, Inc. will be the first album featuring all three Naughty By Nature members in over a decade.
