Acustica Audio announces the availability of the Green4 plugin suite.

Acustica Audio offers four powerful EQ and dynamics modules in the Green4 suite.

Green4 is a plugin suite that faithfully emulates industry-standard, high-end processors found in recording studios across the globe, made in the USA and designed by one of the most famous and respected recording engineers in the world, who was also the inventor of the concept of parametric equalization.

Green4 includes a 5-band Mono Parametric Equalizer, a 5-band True-Stereo Parametric Equalizer, a 5-band Stereo Parametric Mastering Equalizer, and a Stereo Mastering limiter/compressor.

Each plugin included in the Green4 suite comes in a “Standard” version and an alternative “ZL” version which operates at zero latency and is thus suitable for use when tracking.

BABY Audio releases the Parallel Aggressor plugin.

BABY Audio offers up their take on parallel compression with the new Parallel Aggressor plugin.

Parallel processing plays a fundamental part in getting a “big” mix sound. By processing multiple copies of the same track and blending them together, you can add more punch to a mix—in a more natural-sounding way.

Parallel Aggressor is based on this concept. It splits your audio into three equal parts: Dry – your original signal, Spank – a heavily compressed duplicate, and Heat – a heavily saturated duplicate.

Work the duplicates hard! Then combine all three signals to squeeze every drop of sonic juice out of your track.

Parallel Aggressor is compatible with all major DAWs, and available in VST, VST3, AU, and AAX formats. It is currently on sale for a special introductory price of $29 until August 30th (reg. $49).

Sequential adds user wavetable import to the Pro 3 synth.

Sequential adds crucial user wavetable import functionality into the popular Pro 3 synth.

Sequential has announced a significant enhancement to the Pro 3 multi-filter mono synth: support for user-created wavetables. A hybrid instrument, the Pro 3 features two VCOs plus a third, digital oscillator with 32 permanent factory wavetables.

Sequential’s web-based utility Wavetable Generator allows you to convert up to 16 single-cycle waves into a Pro 3 compatible wavetable and load it into to any of the 32 user wavetable slots on the synth. This significantly expands the sound palette of the instrument. Custom wavetables are generated as SysEx files that can be archived and shared with other Pro 3 owners.

To use the feature, Pro 3 users will need to upgrade to version 1.1 of the Pro 3 operating system, available on the Support page of Sequential’s website. Both the Wavetable Generator utility and OS upgrade are provided free of charge to Pro 3 owners.
