Headphones: Where Audio Pros, Artists, Fans and Music Business Meet — Q&A with Muzik CEO Jason Hardi
Headphones are a huge deal. Audio creators, artists, and fans all use them.
Jason Hardi, CEO and Founder of disruptive technology lab Muzik, knew that wearable technology was where he could make a difference. When Muzik launched in 2012, Hardi and his team saw headphones’ increasingly important role in how listeners experience the music and sound made by audio engineers, producers, mixers, and mastering engineers. It’s how he got notable artists like Drake and Questlove involved in the project.
Today, Muzik headphones offers two models for music consumers, the premium sound Lux Wireless and lightweight LTD Wireless. Google Assistant-equipped, these are smart headphones that can integrate seamlessly with third party applications and control connected devices. With the upcoming Vision, that will also include being able to capture hands-free photo and video content and share it on socials, all from your headphones.
In this video interview, you’ll see what it takes to be an entrepreneur in a crowded consumer electronics market. For Hardi, Muzik is a path to expanding possibilities both for music fans and audio creators.
