Another Day of Clinics Opens For Alto NYC and Universal Audio’s Mixing Master Class with Phil Magnotti

On September 21 and 22, Alto NYC will open up its studio showroom for a series of Mixing Master Classes with multiple Grammy-winning mix engineer Phil Magnotti. In two sessions each day, Magnotti will mix audience-submitted tracks live, taking you step-by-step through his process and offering instructive tips and techniques along the way.

On hand will be UAD-2 cards running Powered Plug-Ins and lots of Universal Audio gear — providing a wonderful opportunity to see an experienced mix engineer use these tools to create award winning mixes.

Submit your mp3 demos below!! All submissions must be received by September 17, 2010.

The event will be held in two small-format sessions at Alto NYC on Tuesday, September 21 and Wednesday, September 22. Please specify which session you would like to attend – EITHER 4 to 6 PM, or 7 to 9PM. Space is limited, and Wednesday has already filled up, but please RSVP for one of Tuesday’s sessions to: shane@altomusic.com. And Submit your mp3 demos below, as the additional sessions mean more opportunities to have Magnotti mix your tracks!

Phil will select the tracks to be examined ahead of time and you’ll be notified if you’ve been selected.

Obviously, we will be limited on time, so don’t be disheartened if you aren’t chosen this time around. You’ll still want to show up as there will be lots to learn — and they may even be extra time to look at a few more tracks!
