SADiE 6 Includes Expanded Audio Effects By iZotope
In a deal announced at IBC in Amsterdam over the weekend, Prism Sound’s new SADiE 6 systems will include a customized and expanded audio effect feature set powered by iZotope technology.
The iZotope bundle, customized for SADiE 6, will include:
-Reverb
-Chorus & Flanger
-Analogue Delay
-Phaser
-Pitch-Shift
-Parametric EQ
-Single-Band Compressor
-Multiband Compressor-Simple Mastering (including EQ, reverb, exciter, widener, loudness maximize)
These nine VST plug-ins make use of SADiE 6’s extended VST capabilities and are in addition to the existing on-board EQ’s, dynamics, aux sends, M/S decoder width control Graphic EQ and Mastering Limiter. All SADiE 6 systems also come with SADiE’s own Hi-dither tools, with the Sound Suite and Mastering Suite packages including Prism Sound’s Super Noise Shaping dither tools.
As of IBC, Prism Sound had released SADiE 6 with initial availability to major broadcasters. The second phase will be to existing SADiE users who have pre-ordered an upgrade to SADiE 6 and this is expected to begin later in September, followed a little later by full availability.
SADiE 6 runs on Windows computers using a soundcard such as the Prism Sound Orpheus or the built-in unit, or one of the low-latency SADiE Series 5 hardware solutions.
These technologies by Prism Sound and SADiE are designed for and used primarily in: Radio drama and documentary production; Television and Film sound post production; Location sound recording; Broadcast and recording trucks for live events; Studio and field-based recording; and Mastering Studios.
Prism Sound and SADiE offer a complete Mastering studio package including SADiE 6 software, host computer with a choice of SADiE DSP and/or Prism Sound audio interface plus Prism Sound “Maselec Master Series” MLA-2 Compressor and MEA-2 Equalizer.
