MixCon 2024 continues with a masterclass from 3-time GRAMMY-winning producer and engineer Marc Urselli, who has worked with U2, Foo Fighters, Lou Reed, Nick Cave, Jeff Beck, Bill Frisell, John Zorn, and more.
He walks us through a pair of mixes, one from jazz legend George Coleman, and one from David J of the band Bauhaus.
On the way, he takes us through his mic locker and talks about the techniques and placements he uses to get his sounds, as well as how he treats them in the mix.
