I quit my dream job. More than once actually. And each time, it was the best thing to happen to me!

And I’m not talking about quitting jobs that suck here. (…Though I’ll touch on that a little bit as well.)

I quit a high and prestigious end corporate job in music production.

I quit a faculty job at one of the biggest educational institutions in audio.

And I even quit mixing when it was going the best for me that it ever had.

Why? And what lessons can you take from my successes and failures in my music career?
