Additional Co-Hosts Announced for Third Annual Pensado Awards
The Pensado Awards are a ‘must-attend audio event’ that celebrates and acknowledges talents of thousands of works that often go unnoticed in other music award ceremonies.
Announced co-hosts are Taryn Manning and Samantha Maloney. Taryn is an acclaimed singer-songwriter, actress and fashion designer associated with works on electronic duo Boomkat, 8 Mile, and Orange Is the New Black. Samatha is a drummer associated with in Hole, Mötley Crüe, and Peaches.

The new cohosts are joining the previously announced co-hosts: producer/engineer Chris Lord-Alge (Pink, Foo Fighters, Avril Lavigne, Green Day), recording/mix engineer MixedByAli (Kendrick Lamar, Dr. Dre, Robin Thicke) and mastering engineer Gavin Lurssen (Tom Waits, Sheryl Crow, T-Bone Burnett).
About the Third Annual Pensado Awards
The musical theme of the evening will be “Celebrate the Guitar”; underscoring that theme will be three live performers throughout the ceremony: Phil X (Triumph, Bon Jovi) on electric guitar, Michael “Fish” Herring (Prince, Celine Dion, Christina Aguilera) on acoustic guitar and Ethan Farmer (Aretha Franklin, Janet Jackson, Justin Timberlake) on bass guitar.
This year’s ceremony will be taking place on Saturday, August 20th, 2016, at Sony Pictures Studios 10202 W. Washington Blvd., Culver City, CA 90232.
