Atlanta Event Alert: Mixing Workshop Hosted by Waves — May 31
Live sound mixing is taking center stage this week in Atlanta.
Waves Audio will be hosting a mixing workshop masterclass at Atlanta’s Passion City Church (515 Garson Dr NE) on Thursday, May 31, from 9am to 3pm.
Stephen Bailey gets his hands on niceties like the Waves LV1 system, mixing FOH for Matt Redman.
The session will feature Waves Live Specialist Stephen Bailey, Waves SoundGrid Specialist Michael Pearson-Adams and the accomplished FOH engineer Jeff Sandstrom (Chris Tomlin). A Waves SoundGrid Certification training session will take place following the day’s main session.

The day starts at 9:30 AM with a continental breakfast and social mixer for attendees. At 10 AM, Stephen Bailey and Michael Pearson-Adams will present on how Waves software and SoundGrid-compatible hardware can help users in their mixing environments. Lunch will take place at 12:30, after which Sandstrom will close out the main session talking about how he works and his mixing techniques.
At 3:30 PM Michael Pearson-Adams will be holding SoundGrid 201 Certification training. Note that SoundGrid 101 is a pre-requisite for taking the SoundGrid 201 Certification that will be held on that day.
