audioEngine Founder Bob Giammarco Acquires Full Ownership of NYC, Phoenix Studios

There are three fewer founding partners in the ownership mix at audioEngine.

audioEngine has consolidated its ownership under founding partner Bob Giammarco.

Via a post on the audio post-production facility’s Website last month, audioEngine announced that founder Bob Giammarco had acquired the company, which has studios both in New York City and Phoenix, in full.

Also noted was the fact that the company’s remaining founding partners are staying  with audioEngine: Tom Goldblatt and Rex Recker will continue on as senior mixers, while Brian Wick continues in his role as chief engineer.

Located in the heart of Greenwich Village at 817 Broadway, audioEngine stands as one of NYC’s largest audio post facilities, with 16,000 sq. ft. of production space featuring multiple rooms designed by the Walters-Storyk Design Group. Services offered in its six NYC suites include mixing for all Dolby formats, complete radio production, custom music and sound design.

Recent audioEngine advertising clients include Weight Watchers, Budweiser, Toyota, Cable One, Dick’s Sporting Goods, University of Phoenix, Almay and Sonic. On the TV content side, recent clients have included History Channel, “Celebrity Apprentice,” Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network and “Top Chef.”

The current audioEngine roster is comprised of mixers Brain Beatrice, Tom Goldblatt, Kelly Harnett, Eric Hoffman, Carl Mandelbaum, Rex Recker, and Executive Producer Meredith Nazzaro in New York. In Phoenix are Jason Camiolo, Josh Bagenstoss and Executive Producer Jessica Poland in Phoenix.  Giammarco will maintain mixing schedules in both New York and Phoenix.
