Beatport Mixes Debuts: New Mixtape Download Store

Beatport, the international digital music store for dance music has launched a new service: Beatport Mixes.

DJ's have a new revenue stream with Beatport Mixes.

Already a a pioneer in in distributing music in premium digital formats, Beatport is continuing to provide unique music discovery tools created for and by the worlds most popular and influential DJs.

Beatport Mixes now offers a platform for DJs to share their mixes in there entirety as DRM-free, high definition files. DJs will have the opportunity to use Beatport to upload and distribute their mixes while using the Beatport system to generate revenue for DJs, record producers and labels.

The result is a system that bridges the traditional platform of foundational DJ mix tapes and the increasing desires of passionate Beatport fans.

The Beatport Mixes offer full track lists, and all tracks are from Beatport’s library. The mix length cannot exceed 500MB, and are excepted in 320 MP3 format, priced at $5.29 regardless of length and track list in its beta version. Note that users can have other tracks in their mixes that were not purchased from Beatport but, the other tracks won’t collect revenue.

Fresh and exclusive mixes from, Diplo, Todd Terry and Stefano Noferini are now available. Users who want to get on the list for early access to uploading their mix should enter their username via this form.
