Blue Cat Audio Launches Liny EQ 5.0 – Linear Phase Graphic EQ
Audio engineering should be an elegant experience.
That belief is easy to see in the newly released Blue Cat Audio Liny EQ 5.0, which represents a complete rewrite of the French developer’s low latency linear phase EQ plugin.
Lots of plugins are capable of communicating information, but the attractive way that Liny EQ does it – and providing so much in the process — makes you want to dive in deeper for your mixing and mastering. An 8-band linear phase graphic equalizer, it sports very low latency while providing extremely comprehensive visual feedback, processing audio signals without phase distortion, with an unusually short latency (less than 3 milliseconds, according to Blue Cat).
A plugin for VST, RTAS, AAX, Audio Unit and DirectX formats, for both Mac and PC (32 and 64-bit), Liny EQ 5 is available now as a standalone or as part of Blue Cat’s Master Pack bundle. Right now as standalone it can be had for a special intro price of $96, going up to $129 on June 15th. As well, the Master Pack bundle is available now for $509, going up to $599 on June 15th.
