Clinton Recording Studios Is Leaving The Building

Word has just come in that June 30, 2010 will mark the last day of operations for Clinton Recording Studios at 653 10th Avenue, the building that has housed the studio since its doors opened in December,  1983.

Clinton's Studio A was one of the few remaining large orchestral tracking rooms in NYC.

Clinton owner and engineer Ed Rak has sold the building and is now “focused on other opportunities that include exploring alternative NYC locations.”

Please be advised that Clinton Recording Studios will no longer accept bookings for after June 15, 2010.

“This building has housed a very successful and magical experience for us all,” says Rak, who oversaw the design and construction of Clinton in the early 80s, with a vision of creating NYC’s premier recording facility.

“Our intention is to continue operations at a new location in the near future, and we look forward to maintaining all of our valued relationships,” Rak adds.

“We will help make arrangements to accommodate our clients during this time of transition. We have enjoyed making history in recording, and we wish to continue providing the best recording solutions going forward.”

Over its 27 years in business, Clinton Recording Studios has hosted many top artists, including Frank Sinatra, Steely Dan, Bob Dylan, Sting, Beyonce and Bruce Springsteen.
