Downtown Music Publishing Opens Los Angeles Office, with New SVP Amy Driscoll-Dunning
Downtown continues to build up crosstown – or cross-country, to be precise.
Downtown Music Publishing, part of of the always-blossoming Downtown Music concern born on Broadway in SoHo, announced that its first ever Los Angeles office has opened. At the helm will be Amy Driscoll-Dunning, who will be its Senior Vice President, Creative Services & Business Development.
According to Justin Kalifowitz, President of Downtown, Driscoll-Dunning will oversee the company’s bi-coastal Film and Television Music department, liaise with the New York office regarding direct-to-brand and commercial advertising opportunities and be responsible for developing new business. She will report directly to Kalifowitz.
Driscoll-Dunning has a strong pedigree coming into Downtown. Previously, she served as Vice President of Film Music for Fox Filmed Entertainment. While there, she oversaw the creative and production aspects of music supervision for films produced by 20th Century Fox, Fox Searchlight and Fox 2000.
Soundtracks and scores on her reel from that time include Juno, 500 Days of Summer, Water For Elephants, Chronicle, Stoker, Life of Pi, The Heat and The Wolverine.
Downtown Music Publishing’s rights management catalog numbers 50,000+ titles, including works by John Lennon & Yoko Ono, The Kinks, Hans Zimmer, Motley Crue, Seal, Ellie Goulding, Neon Trees and One Direction.
