Ed Stasium & Friends of Joey Ramone Record At Stratosphere
Legendary producer Ed Stasium recently put the final touches on a collection of Joey Ramone’s unfinished songs, collaborating with a number of artists who were friends with Ramone at Stratosphere Studios in NYC. (pics below!)

In a few whirlwind days at Stratosphere, Stasium worked on tracks with Joan Jett, “Handsome Dick” Manitoba, J.P. “Thunderbolt” Patterson and Andy Shernoff of The Dictators, “The Godmother of NYC Punk,” Genya Ravan, Steven Van Zandt, Richie Ramone, Bun E. Carlos, Dennis Diken Of The Smithereens, Holly Beth Vincent, Arno Hecht of The Uptown Horns, Joey’s brother Mickey Leigh and Al Maddy.
Meanwhile, Steven Van Zandt has also been at Stratosphere producing a full-length album for Danish band, The Breakers, for his own label, Wicked Cool Records. NYC-based producer/engineer Geoff Sanoff has been engineering the sessions.
